AceShowbiz - Lil Pump has once again stirred controversy by reigniting his feud with J. Cole following a recent Instagram post that was later deleted. The post featured a video claiming that J. Cole left a Miami nightclub after the DJ played multiple songs by Lil Pump.
In the caption accompanying the video, Lil Pump wrote, "J Cole Miami know what time it is I ain't even there and he cleared the room they played 4 of my songs and he left," adding the phrase "Rent free." This suggested that J. Cole was affected by the presence of his music despite Lil Pump not being present.
The video itself contained direct criticism aimed at J. Cole. Lil Pump alleged, "J. Cole, I heard you walked out the club when they started playing my songs," questioning how someone could leave a venue just because songs by Lil Pump were played, especially in Miami, a city known for its vibrant music scene.
In addition to the video, Lil Pump shared further provocative messages on his Instagram Stories. These included references to details from J. Cole's Wikipedia page as well as comments about his past. The posts also contained disrespectful remarks directed at J. Cole's wife, escalating the tension between the two artists.
The two rappers have a history of conflict dating back to 2018, although they reportedly met face-to-face later that year and appeared to settle their differences. Despite this, earlier in 2024, Lil Pump commented on J. Cole's public apology to Kendrick Lamar over a brief rap dispute, labeling the apology as "soft."
As of now, J. Cole has not issued a public response to Lil Pump's latest remarks, leaving the status of their rivalry uncertain.
