AceShowbiz - Chayce Beckham, the 2021 winner of American Idol, has released his latest single, Everything I Need, to country radio, continuing his rise in the country music scene.
Following his breakthrough success with the Platinum-certified single "23," which recently reached #1 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart, Beckham is now introducing fans and radio listeners to a fresh track from his debut album, Bad For Me. This new single impacted country radio on April 29 and quickly became the second-most added song of the week, gaining spins on 48 stations during its first week.
The upbeat and feel-good vibe of Everything I Need complements the style of "23" and is featured alongside it on Beckham's recently released album. The collection showcases his authentic storytelling and musical talents, which have helped him join the ranks of American Idol winners who have succeeded on country charts, including Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson, and Scotty McCreery.
Beckham made history as the fourth American Idol winner to break into the Billboard Country Airplay Top 10. Notably, before his hit "23," the last solo artist to top the Country Airplay chart with a song solely written and recorded by themselves was Taylor Swift with "Ours" in 2012. Forbes highlighted that Beckham demonstrates the continuing impact and popularity of reality TV alumni in the country music industry.
Last month, Beckham unveiled his debut album, Bad For Me, through 19 Recordings/Wheelhouse Records/BMG. Describing the album, he shared, "Bad For Me is a collection of some of my favorite songs I've had the chance to be a part of. This album doesn't just tell any story, it tells mine, and it's all honest and true to my life in every way possible." He emphasized the personal nature of the record and his dedication, expressing hope that listeners enjoy the album from start to finish.
In an interview with Billboard, Beckham explained his creative process, stating, "Over the last few years, I feel like I just kind of put my head down and kept trucking, putting as much hard work into this as I could. I wanted to create a record that highlighted everything I love in country music, like fiddles, guitars, mandolins, harmonies, and storytelling."
Currently, Beckham is headlining his own Bad For Me Tour and is also scheduled to join Luke Bryan on the "Mind Of A Country Boy" Tour this summer. Additionally, he plans to support Parker McCollum on the "Burn It Down" Tour this fall. Fans can find tickets and tour updates at www.ChayceBeckham.com.
