Julianne Hough described the experience as unique, especially since her role involves appearing in a movie within the movie. She explained, "I didn't really participate in the actual film. I'm having a new experience with all of you as well."

Adding to the excitement of the project was the chance to work alongside Maggie Gyllenhaal herself and her brother, Jake Gyllenhaal, who also stars in the film. Julianne Hough praised Jake's professionalism and humility.

The film will officially premiere in theaters on March 6, 2026.
