On the same day as the concert, Spotify announced that ARIRANG, BTS’s first album in six years, became the platform’s most-streamed album in a single day for 2026 to date. It also set a new record as the most-streamed K-pop album in Spotify’s history.
Previously, BTS’s last full-length album, Be, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in 2020. Afterward, the members took time to fulfill mandatory military service and explore solo projects, making this comeback highly anticipated.
The septet is gearing up for their largest world tour to date, scheduled to visit 34 cities across 2026 and 2027. Before hitting the road, BTS is currently in the United States for promotional activities supporting ARIRANG.
These engagements include a Spotify event in New York City, where the members answered fans' questions and performed. They are also set to appear on NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on consecutive nights. On Wednesday, March 25, BTS will join Fallon for an interview and a performance, followed by another performance the next evening.
In addition, Netflix will further spotlight the group with the exclusive release of BTS: The Return on Friday, March 27. This documentary offers an unprecedented behind-the-scenes look at the making of ARIRANG and the band’s creative process during their comeback.
Industry analysts project that BTS’s return could provide a significant financial boost to their label HYBE in 2026. Billboard estimates that combined revenue from the new album, world tour, merchandise, licensing, and streaming could exceed $1 billion within a 12-month span.
With their triumphant return to the stage and strong streaming performance, BTS continue to solidify their global influence in music and entertainment throughout 2026 and beyond.
