BTS reveals mature new look for album 'Arirang,' their first full-band release in six years. Out March 20.

AceShowbiz - BigHit Entertainment has revealed the official album artwork for the highly anticipated new release from BTS, titled Arirang. The imagery features the seven members—RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook—dressed sharply in suits, presenting a mature and refined aesthetic that signals a new chapter for the globally renowned K-pop group.
Scheduled for release on Friday, March 20, Arirang marks BTS's fifth album and their first full-band project in six years, following their previous album Be from 2020. That earlier album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and included chart-topping tracks such as "Life Goes On" and "Dynamite."
The new artwork emphasizes a grown-up, business-ready image, with each member receiving a closeup that showcases their poised and serious demeanor, a departure from some of their earlier, more youthful looks. This fresh presentation aligns with the group’s recent milestone, as all members completed their mandatory military service in South Korea last year, enabling them to reunite fully for another album cycle.
BTS remains an undeniable force in the K-pop industry, boasting six No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200, including the 2022 anthology Proof, as well as six No. 1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100. They have also been honored as the IFPI Global Recording Artist of the Year twice, in 2020 and 2021, making them the first act to achieve this feat in consecutive years.
To complement the album launch, BTS will host a live event titled BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG, set to stream live from Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul, South Korea, on March 21, the day after the album’s release.
The album’s title, Arirang, is derived from a traditional Korean folk song that symbolizes themes of connection, separation, and reunion across generations.
