- March 10, 2026
AceShowbiz - BELIFT LAB officially announced on March 10 that Heeseung will be leaving ENHYPEN to focus on a solo career, marking the group’s first lineup change since their debut.
The agency revealed the decision came after extensive conversations with all members about their future directions and individual aspirations. These discussions highlighted that Heeseung has a unique musical vision he wishes to pursue independently.
Despite departing from the group, Heeseung will remain signed under BELIFT LAB as he prepares to release his solo album, although specific details about the project have yet to be shared.
The statement posted across ENHYPEN’s official channels expressed gratitude toward fans and members for their support and cooperation during this transition.
The remaining six members — Jake, Jay, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Jungwon, and Ni-ki — will continue activities as ENHYPEN. However, no announcements were made regarding new releases or tour plans at the time of the update.
In a message to fans known as ENGENE, Heeseung expressed heartfelt thanks to his groupmates and supporters. He wrote, "Thanks to the members with whom I shared countless emotions, and to ENGENE, who always filled every empty space with their support, I was able to take step after step toward a dream that once felt out of reach."
Heeseung also shared his commitment to working hard on his upcoming album and hopes to reconnect with fans soon through his solo endeavors.
ENHYPEN debuted in November 2020 following Heeseung’s participation in the survival audition program I-LAND. The group quickly rose to international prominence with their debut release Border: Day One and subsequent albums and tours.
This transition marks a significant moment in the group’s history as they continue their career as a six-member ensemble. Fans and industry observers are keenly awaiting further updates on both ENHYPEN’s group activities and Heeseung’s solo projects.
