AceShowbiz - BTS has released the first trailer for their upcoming Netflix livestream event. The special, titled BTS the Comeback Live | Arirang, will be broadcast live from Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul on March 21.
The event will feature the live debut of tracks from their fifth studio album, Arirang, which is scheduled for release on March 20. The trailer highlights the seven members—RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, V, Jimin, and Jung Kook—and includes fan reactions to the group's recent hiatus as each member completed mandatory military service in South Korea. Notably, Jin was the first to enlist in 2022, while Suga was the last to be discharged in July.
Amid scenes of crowds chanting “BTS,” Jung Kook expresses emotion, saying, “So emotional. I really miss them.” Meanwhile, RM emphasizes the group's unity with the statement, “Seven together, we can do anything.”
Earlier this week, the group revealed the full 14-song tracklist for Arirang, featuring the lead single “Swim” and closing with “Into the Sun.” The album includes collaborations with producers and writers such as Mike WiLL Made-It, Flume, Diplo, El Guincho, JPEGMAFIA, and Ryan Tedder.
In addition to the livestream, Netflix will premiere BTS: The Return, a documentary directed by Bao Nguyen that explores the making of the new album. This documentary is set to debut on the streaming platform on March 27.
BTS will also celebrate their comeback with a world tour, starting in Goyang, South Korea, on April 9. The tour will continue with dates in Tampa, Florida, in late April and conclude the U.S. leg in September in California.
