P!nk's Mexico City concerts canceled due to unforeseen logistical issues. Promoter Ocesa apologizes to fans awaiting her return after 20+ years.

AceShowbiz - Promoter Ocesa announced on March 6 that the two concerts scheduled for pop star P!nk at the GNP Seguros Stadium in Mexico City this spring have been canceled. The affected dates were April 26 and 27. According to Ocesa, the cancellations stem from “complications arising from an unforeseen circumstance that affects the logistics of the event,” a problem described as beyond the control of the artist, the promoter, and the venue.
The canceled shows would have marked the return of P!nk to Mexican stages after more than twenty years, exciting fans who were eagerly anticipating the events. The promoter expressed understanding of the disappointment felt by the public and offered gratitude for their patience and comprehension during this situation.
Ocesa clarified that the cancellations of two other scheduled performances in Mexico City are unrelated to P!nk’s situation. These include a concert by regional Mexican singer Carolina Ross, initially planned for May 2 at the Teatro Metropólitan, as well as a show by rapper Lucho SSJ at Foro Puebla.
Similar to P!nk’s cancellations, the promoter attributed the Carolina Ross and Lucho SSJ show cancellations to unforeseen logistical issues outside the control of the artists, venues, and promoter. For Carolina Ross’s concert, ticket holders who purchased online will receive full automatic refunds credited to their original payment methods. Those who bought tickets at the box office can request refunds starting March 12 at the point of purchase.
Likewise, for the Lucho SSJ event, refunds will be processed automatically for online purchases, while box office buyers can claim refunds beginning this Friday directly at the venue. Ocesa emphasized that all refund processes will include service fees and follow the timelines established by each banking institution.
Ticket holders for P!nk’s canceled concerts who purchased through Ticketmaster Mexico will have their money refunded automatically, including any service fees. The refunds will be credited back to the original card used for purchase according to the relevant bank’s timeframe. Those who acquired tickets from box offices will be able to request refunds at the original point of sale in the upcoming days.
This series of cancellations highlights the complexities and unpredictabilities involved in organizing live events, especially when logistical challenges arise unexpectedly. Despite the setbacks, Ocesa reassured fans and ticket holders that the refund procedures are in place to ensure a smooth resolution.
While fans were looking forward to seeing P!nk perform live once again in Mexico, the promoter’s transparent communication aims to maintain trust and understanding amid these unavoidable changes. As of now, no rescheduled dates have been announced for any of the affected shows.
