Philipps has been cast as Natalia, described as "the beautiful and delightfully blunt first wife of an AI billionaire, who divorced her when she turned forty." Seeking revenge, Natalia agrees to back Michael and Olivia's start-up law firm to challenge his and other AI ventures.

Written by Robert and Michelle King, known for The Good Wife and Evil, Cupertino is a "David vs. Goliath" legal battle set in Silicon Valley's tech world. Mike Colter stars as Michael, a lawyer fired by a startup that tried to cheat him out of stock options. He partners with Olivia, played by Rachel Keller from Fargo, another attorney who was also fired, to fight back against powerful tech companies.

Renée Elise Goldsberry will portray a brilliant opposing lawyer with a complex professional and romantic history with Michael. The series, which received a full order from CBS in October, is slated to premiere in the 2026-27 TV season.

In other casting news, Aimee Lou Wood, known for The White Lotus, will star as the titular character in a new adaptation of Jane Eyre, Deadline reveals. This series will explore the classic Charlotte Brontë novel about a young woman’s romance with the brooding Mr. Rochester. The adaptation is written by Miriam Battye, who worked on Succession. No network has been attached to the project yet.
