AceShowbiz - Dave and Tems have successfully taken the No. 1 spot on the U.K. Singles Chart, unseating Harry Styles with their collaborative track “Raindance” as of February 6.
This shift means that Styles' single “Aperture,” which debuted at No. 1 on the chart dated January 30, only enjoyed a brief one-week reign at the top. Despite this, the song still holds firm at the same position on the Billboard Hot 100 but is facing strong competition from Ella Langley and Olivia Dean.
As the week progresses, RAYE’s track “Where Is My Husband!” settles at No. 2, having previously spent one week at No. 1 in January. Djo’s “End of Beginning” holds steady at No. 3; it enjoyed a two-week run at the top in January, coinciding with the end of the popular series Stranger Things, where Joe Kerry portrays the beloved character Steve Harrington.
In its second week on the U.K. Singles Chart, Styles’ “Aperture” has dropped to No. 4. The lead single from his previous album, Harry’s House, “As It Was,” previously spent 10 weeks at No. 1 back in 2022. Meanwhile, Taylor Swift’s “The Fate of Ophelia” remains consistent at No. 5.
Noah Kahan’s “The Great Divide” emerges as the highest new entry of the week, debuting at No. 10. His upcoming fourth album of the same name is set to release on April 24.
Additionally, Zara Larsson is gaining traction with “Midnight Sun,” which has risen six spots to No. 20. Following the band’s historic Grammy win on February 1, The Cure’s classic hit “Boys Don’t Cry” has jumped 14 places to No. 22.
Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” makes its way into the top 40 at No. 38, marking her first-ever appearance on the charts.
