AceShowbiz - Since the release of his breakthrough hit,
Within a year, Warren has seen his song soar to remarkable heights, including an impressive 10-week run at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and being crowned Billboard’s Song of the Summer. The track has amassed over 2.4 billion streams globally and dominated the Billboard Global 200 chart, also holding the top spot for 10 weeks.
Riding the wave of success, Warren earned a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist and clinched the title of Best New Artist at both the MTV Video Music Awards and the iHeart Awards.
In addition to his musical achievements, he has made notable connections in the industry. He collaborated with Jelly Roll on the song “Bloodline,” which they performed at Stagecoach, and shared the stage with artists like Luke Combs and Ed Sheeran. A standout moment occurred when he joined Zara Larsson for the “Lush Life” dance at Jingle Ball.
Reflecting on the past year, Warren shares some of his most memorable moments, still in disbelief that his heartfelt song, written for his wife Kouvr Annon, has resonated so widely.
One of his standout experiences was performing “Ordinary” with Ed Sheeran at the Old Phone Pub pop-up during Coachella in April. “That was the first ‘pinch me’ moment I ever had,” Warren recalls. “I was so nervous, but it didn’t matter because it was Ed Sheeran. My wife was in tears, realizing how surreal everything has become.”
Though he hasn’t collaborated with Sheeran yet, Warren admits he would be anxious to write with such an influential figure in his career.
