AceShowbiz - Thundercat is gearing up for the release of his first album in six years, titled Distracted. Scheduled to drop on April 3 through Brainfeeder Records, the album features the lead single “I Did This To Myself,” a collaboration with Lil Yachty.

In addition to this engaging track, Distracted boasts contributions from notable producers such as Kenny Beats, Flying Lotus, and The Lemon Twigs. Fans can also look forward to “She Knows Too Much,” an emotional collaboration with the late Mac Miller, alongside guest appearances from A$AP Rocky, Tame Impala, Channel Tres, and Willow.

The upcoming album continues to delve into themes of grief, a subject that Thundercat explored in his previous work, It Is What It Is, which was influenced by the untimely passing of Miller. In a press release for Distracted, Thundercat expressed, “I don’t think the heartbreak ever stopped. If it ain’t a girl, it’s taxes. If it ain’t taxes, it’s World War III.”
