AceShowbiz - On a recent episode of "The Jamie Kern Lima Show," Meghan Markle dispelled rumors of trouble in her marriage with Prince Harry. The Duchess of Sussex, 43, praised her husband, calling their current chapter a "honeymoon period" and expressing her deep love for him.
During the candid conversation, Meghan reflected on the strength of their bond, likening it to the exhilarating final level of a video game. "I always think about it like the end of Super Mario Bros," she said.
"When you get to the final final level and they say, 'Slay the dragon, save the princess.' I'm like, that's my husband," she said. "He's constantly going to do whatever he can to make sure that our family is safe and protected, and we're uplifted and still make time for date nights."
Since stepping back from their royal duties in 2020 and moving to California, Prince Harry and Meghan have focused on building a beautiful life together. The couple has two children: Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3. "That man loves me so much. Look what we've built. We've built a beautiful life, and we have two healthy, beautiful children," Meghan remarked.
Recently, Meghan launched her lifestyle brand, As Ever. This venture follows her home and garden show "With Love, Meghan" on Netflix, which has been renewed for a second season. Prince Harry, meanwhile, continues to engage in philanthropic efforts, including honoring California firefighters at the Living Legends of Aviation ceremony.
While Meghan and Harry have faced their share of speculation, the couple firmly shut down divorce rumors on multiple occasions. "I'm so happy for my wife and fully support absolutely everything she's done and continues to do," the Duke had previously said.
Meghan echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the strength and new joy in their relationship, "So now, seven years later when you have a little bit of breathing space, you can just enjoy each other in a new way, and that's why I feel like it's more of a honeymoon period for us now."
Concluding her thoughts, Meghan expressed unwavering confidence in their future together. When asked if she believed she would be married forever to Harry, she responded with a certain "yes." Reflecting on her husband's qualities, she added, "He's also a fox, if you haven't noticed. My husband's very, very handsome. But his heart is even more beautiful."
