Former Patriots coach Bill Belichick's recent CBS sit-down took an unexpected turn when Jordon Hudson unexpectedly interrupted the interview. Here's what happened.

AceShowbiz - Bill Belichick, the legendary six-time Super Bowl champion and current head coach at the University of North Carolina, recently sat down for an interview with CBS's "Sunday Morning" to promote his new book, "The Art of Winning: Lessons from a Life in Football". The interview, which aired on April 27, quickly became a talking point for the wrong reason.

The 73-year-old coach's relationship with the 24-year-old former cheerleader came under the spotlight when interviewer Tony Dokoupil asked the coach, who was wearing a tattered sweatshirt, how the couple met.

Hudson, who was present off-camera, interjected sternly, "We're not talking about this," creating a visibly awkward moment. Dokoupil's voiceover explained, "It's a topic neither of them is comfortable commenting on."

The interruption wasn't a one-off incident. Reports from NBC Sports claimed that Hudson interrupted the interview multiple times, with CBS including one particular instance to illustrate her lurking presence.

According to TMZ, the couple met on a flight in February 2021 while Belichick was still in a 16-year relationship with Linda Holliday. Hudson has since become a significant presence in Belichick's life and career, including identifying herself as the "chief operating officer of Belichick Productions" in leaked emails.

Belichick seemed to struggle with the scrutiny. When asked about Hudson's Instagram photos showing a different, more playful side of him, including a beach yoga session and mermaid-fisherman Halloween costumes, he appeared lost. "Yeah, so I'm on some of those social media platforms," he said, "but I honestly don't follow."

Earlier this year, leaked emails signed by Belichick asked communications staff at the University of North Carolina to include Hudson on any emails to the football coach. "Thank you for the e-mail. I am including Jordon on this email so she can also keep up with our postings. Can you include her on anything you send to me?" it read.

Reactions were varied. Some defended Hudson while many felt she overstepped and became increasingly restrictive, questioning whether her involvement in the interview was appropriate. Some even accused her of elderly abuse for dictating his interview while others wondered why she didn't want people to know their first meeting.
