His co-stars, including Daley Thompson and Angellica Bell, were seen socializing nearby while Rourke appeared to check out by covering himself with a blanket and drifting off.

Opinion among viewers was divided over his decision to sleep despite the initial house rules prohibiting it. Some fans found his actions relatable, with one saying, "I honestly don't blame Mickey for going to sleep on that couch, I'd be shattered too if it was like half 1 and they hadn't opened the bedrooms yet."

Before he passed out on the couch, Mickey Rourke warned his housemates of his temper. "I don't take orders very well, but if everyone is nice and respectful we can have a good time," he said. "As long as nobody pushes the envelope, because the envelope has a very short fuse."
