While Julia Roberts showed up at the preview, Jennifer Lopez attended the premiere night of co-star George Clooney's Broadway debut at the Winter Garden Theatre.

AceShowbiz - George Clooney's highly anticipated Broadway debut in "Good Night, and Good Luck" attracted some of the biggest names in Hollywood, turning the Winter Garden Theatre in New York City into a hub of star power.

Among the notable attendees were Jennifer Lopez and her 17-year-old teen, Emme Maribel Muniz, who graced the event with their sleek, coordinating black looks. The mother glammed up in a vintage velvet deep plunging gown while the daughter was in a suit and tie ensemble.

Lopez's sister Lynda was in attendance as well, turning the night into a family affair. "Best dates ever for opening night of #GoodNightandGoodLuck on Broadway!" she gushed while sharing a series of pictures from the Great White Way.

Julia Roberts also showed up to support Clooney at an earlier preview of the stage show. She was joined by her husband Danny Moder and their 17-year-old son Henry.

While Lopez once shared screen with Clooney in Steven Soderbergh's 1998 film, "Out Of Sigh", Roberts was Clooney's frequent collaborator on projects like "Ocean's Eleven" (2001), "Confessions of a Dangerous Mind", "Money Monster" (2016), and "Ticket to Paradise" (2022).

Also present in the auditorium was Anna Wintour, Vogue's global editorial director, adding an additional layer of star appeal to the evening.

In the "Good Night, and Good Luck", George Clooney, who both stars in and co-wrote the stage adaptation of his 2005 film, plays legendary journalist Edward R. Murrow. The play, directed by David Cromer, revisits Murrow's historic confrontation with Senator Joseph McCarthy.

"It seemed like a good time to remind ourselves how important journalism is to all of us and what a terrible state the country would be in without the Fourth Estate," Clooney shared with Vulture.

"Also, I think it's a nice time to remind ourselves of us at our best - when we stood up to power and people did something very brave and unselfish," Clooney commented.

The riveting adaptation of "Good Night, and Good Luck" is currently running through June 8, offering an extraordinary theatrical experience brought to life by a dedicated cast and creative team.
