AceShowbiz - In an unexpected twist of fate, a false emergency call made by reality TV personality Demetria Spencer, better known as Demi Blanco, led to the tragic death of rapper Young Scooter. Authorities have pieced together the timeline, uncovering a series of unfortunate events with devastating consequences.
On March 28, Demi Blanco from Zeus Network's "Baddies" dialed 911 claiming to have witnessed a violent assault. During the call, obtained by Atlanta's FOX 5, Spencer detailed a harrowing scene involving a woman without clothes on being beaten.
She further claimed there were several armed men in the house, alluding to drug and s*x trafficking activities.
Despite the alarming nature of the 911 call, officers arrived to find no evidence of the alleged crimes. However, the situation quickly escalated as two individuals attempted to flee the scene. One of them was 37-year-old rapper Kenneth Bailey, known by his stage name Young Scooter.
In his desperate attempt to escape, Bailey severely injured his leg while trying to jump over a wooden fence. The injury tore an artery in his thigh, leading to significant blood loss. Bailey later succumbed to his injuries, with the Fulton County Medical Examiner ruling his death an accident due to a "penetrating injury to the thigh."
The tragic incident took a bizarre turn when, just hours before her arrest on April 1, Spencer went live on Instagram to change her story. Instead of witnessing an abuse, she claimed that she herself had been abused and had fabricated the 911 call to "protect herself."
This revelation ended up casting doubt and confusion over the entire chain of events, already muddied by public speculation and rumors.
Shortly after Spencer's arrest, rapper Young Thug posted on social media that Bailey had been shot, stating, "Autopsy came back street got shot." This claim was swiftly refuted by the Fulton County Medical Examiner, who said that Bailey's fatal injury was not caused by a gunshot wound but by contact with wooden fencing material.
Demetria Spencer is currently in custody at Fulton County Jail, charged with transmitting a false public alarm.
