AceShowbiz - Ariana Grande stunned fans with her latest makeover. The actress/singer, 31, recently released a short film titled "Brighter Days Ahead" to celebrate with the deluxe version of her album, "Eternal Sunshine".
In the film, co-directed by Grande and Christian Breslauer, the "Wicked" star looks unrecognizable as she embodies an old lady with prosthetic makeup and a gray wig.
It sees the return of Grande's character, Peaches, from "We Can't Be Friends (Wait for Your Love)" music video. Now an older Peaches arrives at Brighter Days Inc. for advanced memory restoration, enabling her to revisit both cherished and painful memories from her past. This plotline allows viewers to journey alongside Peaches as she reconnects with her younger self.
Grande has successfully harnessed her talents in music and acting, seamlessly blending them in this unique project. The short film features tracks from "Eternal Sunshine" alongside new additions like "Twilight Zone" and "Dandelion," offering fans fresh content to savor.
The release of the deluxe edition marks an end to Grande's "Eternal Sunshine" era, which she initially teased in January. Despite the excitement surrounding her new music, Grande revealed in a Variety interview that she is not planning to tour in the near future. Instead, she intends to delve deeper into acting, a pursuit she finds equally fulfilling.
Grande will reprise her role as Glinda in the sequel to Jon M. Chu-directed film, "Wicked". The first movie has helped her earn multiple award nominations, including an Oscar nod.
Whether in music, acting, or fashion, Grande continues to captivate and inspire.
