AceShowbiz - Craig Conover has moved on from "Summer House" star Paige DeSorbo. The "Southern Charm" star confirmed that he's now dating someone new, just three months after his ex Paige DeSorbo announced their breakup.
"I'm really happy," Conover told Andy Cohen on the March 27 episode of "Watch What Happens Live."
"When I date, I tend to date only one person at a time, so I've been seeing someone, and I have been reminded that the universe works in crazy ways, but everything happens for a reason," he said.
He didn't disclose the identity of his new lady, but he dismissed any speculation linking him to his co-star Salley Carson, with whom he was recently seen dining in New York City.
"I haven't done anything except try to move on with my life, and I'm really happy in the chapter that I'm in," he reiterated.
A source told Deuxmoi that Conover is seeing Natalie Buffett, who previously dated Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott. Rumor has it, Buffett was in the audience when he was taping the "WWHL" episode. On top of that, he "liked" Buffett's latest Instagram post.
Paige DeSorbo announced her split from Craig Conover in December and confirmed that she initiated the breakup. In response, he felt blindsided and claimed they had planned to get engaged before the separation.
DeSorbo insisted she'd already given him a heads-up before going public with their split. She later called him out for refusing to help her clarify the cheating rumors that haunted her. "You're gonna let people say that I'm a cheater? I caught you texting two b****es in the course of our relationship," she raged. "Now, you're dead to me."
However, Conover defended his decision not to address the cheating allegations against her, hinting at his focus to move on as he claimed that since they had nothing to do with each other, he just didn't want to be "involved" anymore.
In another occasion, DeSorbo accused Conover of being unsupportive of her career. "I had a career milestone, he found a way to make it about him," she claimed. "Anytime it was something for me, my friend's wedding or a family wedding, he would find a way to make it about him and make me have a bad time. It was just embarrassing."
For his part, Conover claimed on a reunion show that DeSorbo had been giving him mixed signals since late last year. In one instance after they broke up, she asked him, "Why didn't you try to get me back?" She also allegedly asked him to hold on to their engagement ring. "Maybe we'll get married at BravoCon," she supposedly told him.
Conover also had issues with DeSorbo saying "mean stuff" about him. He insisted he "didn't do anything" to DeSorbo, "Sure I wasn't a perfect boyfriend and I had a lot of s*** that I had to work out, but it's been an interesting breakup to say the least."
Shortly after the episode aired, DeSorbo took to Instagram with a cryptic message. "I'm as mean as you make me," she wrote.
