According to reports from People and CNN, Miller was vacationing with his family in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica, when they all suddenly fell ill. Marisel Rodriguez from the OIJ revealed that the family likely suffered from food poisoning after dining at a different hotel. The hotel's doctor treated the family for stomach issues, but tragically, Miller was found unresponsive the next morning.
In an interview with CNN, Juan Pablo Alvarado from OIJ explained that although asphyxia was initially suspected due to the presence of vomit, medical examinations found no obstruction in the airways, ruling out asphyxiation.
The agency is now focusing on pathological and toxicological examinations to pinpoint the exact cause of death. Results from these tests are expected in approximately three months.
