This compelling narrative will be brought to the big screen by Oscar-winning screenwriter Eric Roth, renowned for his work on "Forrest Gump," "A Star Is Born," and "Killers of the Flower Moon."

The story centers around a drifter, portrayed by Sweeney, who impersonates a missing girl to rob her family, only to discover that her cunning plan was a grievous error. Her initial strategy to convince the family of her identity and stay just one night quickly unravels as she uncovers the unsettling truth behind the girl's disappearance.

Warner Bros. secured the rights to this intense story in a highly competitive acquisition, with top producers including Trevor Engelson, Steven Schneider, Roy Lee, and Mira Yoon attached to the project through Sweeney's Fifty-Fifty Films.

This film is just one of many high-profile projects for Sweeney. She is set to star and produce "The Housemaid," an adaptation of Freida McFadden's novel. Directed by Paul Feig, the film co-stars Amanda Seyfried and Brandon Sklenar and will be released by Lionsgate this December.
