The Mother Monster returned to 'Saturday Night Live' with a bang, showcasing her versatility with high-energy performances and comedic sketches, leaving fans in awe of her dual talents.

AceShowbiz - Lady Gaga wowed audience at 30 Rockefeller Plaza, taking the stage as both host and musical guest on "Saturday Night Live". It was a spectacle of high-energy performances and hilarious sketches that left audiences spellbound.

Hot on the heels of releasing her seventh studio album, "Mayhem", the 38-year-old pop icon delivered an unforgettable night. Gaga's SNL appearance on March 8 marked her second time hosting the show since 2013, and her fifth stint as its musical guest.

The evening kicked off with a witty monologue where Gaga poked fun at her previous "SNL" hosting debut in 2013, which infamously featured disgraced star R. Kelly. She poked fun at her Razzie-winning performance in "Joker: Folie a Deux".

For her musical segments, Gaga first performed "Abracadabra" in a light-up mirrored box, clad in a glittery red ensemble similar to that from the song's dramatic music video which debuted during the 2025 Grammys commercial break.

The performance was a tour de force of choreography, with dancers in black and red wigs freezing in dramatic poses amidst flashing neon lights. This intense number perfectly captured the essence of the song about facing life's challenges and "finding the magic in it all."

Gaga's second performance of the night, the funk-inspired "Killah," began backstage at Studio 8H and transitioned to a full-blown dance party on the main stage with a live band. Clad in another red glitzy outfit that she shed midway for a short jazzy gown, Gaga delivered a high-energy show ended with a fiery finish next to the drum kit, leaving the audience in awe.

Throughout the night, Gaga also flexed her comedic muscles in several sketches. She portrayed a funeral home director, a singer who hilariously overuses the word "slay," and even led a bizarre satanic ritual at a Friendly's birthday party.

Longtime SNL cast member Bowen Yang, a self-proclaimed Gaga superfan, gushed as he introduced her performances, later sharing a selfie with the star on Instagram and expressing immense joy for getting to share the stage with her.

Gaga's return to "SNL" was a triumph, adding to what has already been an incredible year for her. Her album "Mayhem", released the day before her SNL appearance, features collaborations with renowned producers like Andrew Watt and Cirkut, as well as her fiance Michael Polansky. The album's chaotic yet intentional vibe harkens back to Gaga’s earlier work, something she discussed passionately in recent interviews.

If you missed the live broadcast, Gaga's "SNL" episode streams on Peacock, providing fans and newcomers alike a chance to witness the multifaceted talent that is Lady Gaga.
