AceShowbiz - Teddi Mellencamp of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" fame has undergone an emergency brain surgery to have "multiple" tumors removed. Her estranged husband, Edwin Arroyave, shared an update stating that "surgery went well."
However, Arroyave added that Mellencamp has a rough journey to recovery, "I've never seen @teddimellencamp in so much pain." As she is getting "some needed rest" after the procedure, she is "grateful for the outpouring of love" she has received.
Mellencamp discovered the tumors after weeks of suffering from severe headaches. A CT scan and MRI revealed multiple tumors on her brain, which doctors believe have been growing for at least six months. Two of the tumors were removed surgically while smaller ones will be treated with radiation later.
Mellencamp is surrounded by her loved ones, including Arroyave who was by her bedside during the surgery. Her friends, podcast co-host Tamra Judge, fellow Bravo star Kyle Richards, and Morgan Wade, have also visited her.
Arroyave shared a video of Mellencamp counting down the minutes until her surgery, showing her surrounded by her loved ones. He also posted a photo of her in the hospital bed, with the caption, "Praying for a full recovery."
"God only gives hard stuff to those of us who can handle it. It's a hard day but I have faith and amazing surgeons and know everything will be ok," she kept positive outlook amid her latest health struggle that came after her battle with skin cancer.
