In an emotional podcast appearance, Justin Baldoni sheds light on the turmoil he's faced over the past year, alluding to the impact of his ongoing legal battle with co-star Blake Lively.

AceShowbiz - Justin Baldoni talked about his anguish over an "intense" year in a teaser for an upcoming episode of the "Gent's Talk" podcast. The 40-year-old actor-director broke down in the interview filmed in November, acknowledging his anxiety amid his legal battle with Blake Lively.

Baldoni's comments come as he faces a California Civil Rights Department complaint filed by Lively, who accuses him of sexual harassment. The complaint alleges that Baldoni orchestrated a smear campaign against her, which she turned into a formal lawsuit.

Baldoni vehemently denied the allegations and fired back with a lawsuit against the New York Times, which initially covered the complaint. He has also filed a $400 million countersuit against Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and their publicist.

Earlier this week, Baldoni's attorney revealed that the legal proceedings have left his client "devastated financially and emotionally." While waiting for trial, Baldoni released multiple text exchanges and raw footage from their movie "It Ends with Us" to refute Lively's claim.

In response, Lively's lawyer filed for a gag order, citing concerns about tainting jury pool before the trial. But Baldoni's legal team objected and accused her of trying to silence them, and then soon afterwards, a voice mail in which Baldoni profusely apologized to Lively leaked on the internet.

The situation remains complex, with a trial set for May 2026. As the legal battle continues, Baldoni's emotional interview sheds light on the toll it has taken on his mental well-being.
