During his recovery, Bolton enjoyed the company of his loved ones and practiced his golf putting. In a Christmas message to his fans last year, he wrote, "Sending warm wishes for a holiday season filled with peace, love, and joy," while sharing his hope for a healthy and joyful New Year.
