Angelina Jolie makes rare comments about her children, their thoughts on fame, their interests in entertainment industry, and if any of them have any desire in pursuing acting like famous mom and dad.

AceShowbiz - According to Angelina Jolie, none of her children, including 18-year-old Shiloh, are interested in pursuing acting. Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, in particular, has a strong aversion to the celebrity lifestyle.
"They really don't like any of the celebrity part of it, especially Shiloh hates it," Jolie said at a panel at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival. "It's not a normal thing. It's a silly thing, really."
Jolie, who shares six children with ex-husband Brad Pitt, emphasized that her children's distaste for fame is not due to her influence. "That's not my doing," she said. "I always wanted them to be around film because it's such a wonderful family, to be creative, to be an artist... They're not interested."
While none of her children are eager to step into the spotlight, some have explored creative outlets behind the scenes. Jolie's eldest sons, Maddox and Pax, have worked as assistant directors on her film "Maria," daughter Vivienne has collaborated with her on Broadway's "The Outsiders", and Shiloh has been showing her impressive skills as a dancer.
Jolie believes that her children's involvement in film production is a valuable experience. "It's good to start them in working," she said. "You've got to run around and do anything for everybody. And so they've been doing that in a few films."
Despite their varied interests in the entertainment industry, Jolie's children have consistently remained private about their personal lives. "They're especially shy, very private people," Jolie said in October 2024. "They want to be private."
