AceShowbiz - Travis Kelce and his brother Jason Kelce addressed conspiracy theories suggesting that the NFL was "rigged" in favor of the Kansas City Chiefs to boost ratings for Taylor Swift's appearance at the Super Bowl.
Travis, who appeared on his brother's "They Call It Late Night" show via a video call, quipped that he would have attended Jason's show in person if the Chiefs had lost to the Buffalo Bills in the AFC championship game.
"Dammit. Josh, why'd you have to ruin this?" Jason playfully referred to the Bills' quarterback Josh Allen, to which Travis replied, "Don't blame Josh. He played his tail off."
"Who do I blame? The officials?" Jason then poked fun at the backlash against referee. Travis dismissed the speculation, claiming the referee was "fair" during the game, prompting Jason to quip, "You did? Sure. Yeah, you and nobody else."
Former NFL VP Dan Brandino has refuted the criticism, especially the alleged ploy connected to Taylor Swift, stating that "One-hundred and fifty million people are gonna watch the Super Bowl regardless of Taylor Swift being there."
The Chiefs are preparing for their third appearance in three years at the Super Bowl on February 9. Despite the conspiracy theories, they remain confident in their abilities and the fairness of the league.
