Alba, who recently confirmed her split from husband Cash Warren, shared glimpses of the low-key night on TikTok, showcasing a serene ambiance filled with candles and crystals. The group led by a female guru spent the night meditating together, writing journals, and enjoying dinner.
The Duchess of Sussex was seen briefly, with her face hidden, throughout Alba's video. At one point, Alba is seen walking past the royal, who was dressed in white, while carrying in plates of doughnuts with lit candles to be presented to the birthday girl.
The guests sang "Happy Birthday" before the former "Scandal" actress blew the candles. "Happy Born Day to my girl #KerryWashington 🥳🎂," Alba wrote in the caption. "There's nothing like that fill your cup type of #girls night 💗."
The "I Know What You Did last Summer" actress further explained the evening's purpose, "We came together for a beautiful ceremony led by Jill, founder of @SpiritDaughter 🌑✨New moons are a time for fresh starts … and this night was just that. We connected, #manifested, released what no longer serves us ... Feeling extra #grateful - to more nights like these ✨🫶🏽."
In her own page, Kerry Washington shared a similar celebratory post while reflecting on the significance of her birthday. "It's my birthday!!!!!!!!!!! 🎈 🥳😍😜Which for me is always a time for reflection and healing," she wrote.
"But truth be told, in Los Angeles right now, it feels like we are ALL needing to do a lot of that. It's amazing how loss or even the threat of loss can remind you of what matters most," she added, acknowledging the recent impact of the L.A. wildfires.
Kerry Washington and Meghan Markle are close friends. They were seen sitting together at the 2024 Paley Honors Fall Gala in December 2024 to support their mutual pal Tyler Perry. The duo also attended Beyonce Knowles' concert together in 2023.
