
The 2025 Producers Guild Awards are just around the corner, and the list of nominees is finally here after emergency delay due to the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles.

AceShowbiz - The Producers Guild of America (PGA) has unveiled its 2025 nominations across various film and television categories. The announcement, initially postponed due to Los Angeles wildfires, reaffirms the guild's commitment to celebrating the finest works in entertainment despite challenging circumstances.
For the prestigious Darryl F. Zanuck Award for Outstanding Producer of Theatrical Motion Pictures, the nominees include films such as "Anora", "The Brutalist", "A Complete Unknown", "Conclave", "Dune: Part Two", "Emilia Perez", "A Real Pain", "September 5", "The Substance", and "Wicked".
Nominees for Outstanding Producer of Animated Theatrical Motion Pictures are "Flow", "Inside Out 2", "Moana 2", "Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl", and "The Wild Robot".
In the TV categories, the drama series features nominees are filled with the likes of "Bad Sisters", "The Diplomat", "Fallout", "Shogun", and "Slow Horses". Comedic excellence is represented by shows such as "Abbott Elementary", "The Bear", "Curb Your Enthusiasm", "Hacks", and "Only Murders in the Building".
This year, the limited or anthology series nominees include "Baby Reindeer", "Feud: Capote Vs. The Swans", "The Penguin", "Ripley", and "True Detective: Night Country".
Meanwhile, Outstanding Producer of Non-Fiction Television is a stiff competition among "30 for 30", "Conan O'Brien Must Go", "The Jinx - Part Two", "STEVE!", and "Welcome to Wrexham".
Outstanding Producer of Game & Competition Television are "The Amazing Race", "RuPaul's Drag Race", "Top Chef", "The Traitors", and "The Voice".
Apart from the regular categories, the PGA will also honor individuals with special awards. Chris Meledandri will receive the David O. Selznick Achievement Award, Dana Walden the Milestone Award, Taika Waititi the Norman Lear Achievement Award, and Lynda Obst and Paula Weinstein the Trailblazer Award.
The 36th Producers Guild Awards will take place on February 8, 2025, at the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles. The event will also serve as a fundraiser for producers affected by the recent wildfires, further establishing its role in supporting the community. The PGA has committed a portion of the event's proceeds to a newly established fund in partnership with the Entertainment Community Fund.
