AceShowbiz - Former "Selling Tampa" star Sharelle Rosado has finally shed light on the reasons behind her split from former NFL player Chad Ochocinco. The real estate agent and entrepreneur announced their separation in October 2024, declaring her former fiancé "a free man" via a since-deleted post on X.
During a new interview with Carlos King on the "Reality with the King" podcast, Rosado revealed that their relationship was marred by Johnson's infidelity. She explained that the couple was not in a monogamous relationship on his part, detailing how she found incriminating evidence through his phone.
"When we were together, there was some ... going on and I found out about it," she shared. "The s*** I saw was crazy," Rosado added, indicating that she discovered texts from multiple women.
Rosado expressed her disappointment with Johnson's behavior, "I was like, 'F*** this s***. Do you know who I am?' I know who you are and I respect what you have. But it is what it is. And nobody's perfect. I just feel like, when things happen be honest about it."
She went on to highlight the challenges of dealing with Johnson's fame and its impact on their relationship. "They're gonna throw themselves at him because of who he is," she noted.
Despite the pain, Rosado said that she wasn't there to judge Johnson. "I respect Chad and at the end of the day, we're still a family, no matter what things happen," she said.
Rosado clarified that Johnson did not give her STD, countering swirling rumors after she warned a fan might "catch" something by sliding into his DMs. "For everyone who was asking, no he did not give me anything," she affirmed.
The couple, who went public with their romance in November 2020 and got engaged in January 2023, shares a daughter named Serenity, born in January 2022. Rosado admitted that co-parenting has been challenging post-breakup but expressed an openness to possibly rekindle their relationship in the future.
"Later… we'll see," she emotionally stated. "But I'm having fun traveling I'm just enjoying life right now… but on a serious note, yes - after therapy, after everything, once we clear the slate with everything I would be open to going on a date with him and we go from there."
While Rosado is willing to forgive her ex and is focusing on her career and personal growth, the public remains intrigued by the possibility of reconciliation. Her account offers a glimpse into the complexities of high-profile relationships and the emotional toll they can exact on those involved.
