AceShowbiz - Justin Baldoni thought Blake Lively was hiring someone to spy on him. According to a new report, the "It Ends With Us" actor/director accused his co-star's personal trainer on the set of acting as a "damn spy" on her behalf.
On Monday, December 30, Newsweek reported that Blake said in her complaint that Justin was dealing with lower back pain as a ruse to express his grievances on the issue to the film's crew. "Mr. Baldoni referred to Ms. Lively's trainer as 'a damn spy' and sought to plant stories to portray his concerns as being motivated by his lower back pain," a document read.
According to Blake, the personal trainer told her that he wanted her to shed pounds for the film 'less than four months after [she] had given birth to her fourth child,' son Olin. She said in the filing she was 'humiliated' to learn that Justin, "'without her knowledge or permission," convened a meeting with the trainer and "implied that he wanted her to lose weight in two weeks."
The director allegedly "told the trainer that he had asked because he was concerned about having to" lift her up "in a scene for the movie, but there was no such scene" scripted. In her complaint to the California Civil Rights Department, however, Blake didn't name the fitness professional.
In late December, Blake made headlines after she filed to the California Civil Rights Department against Justin. She accused him of harassing her in multiple ways during production of the motion picture. Additionally, the wife of Ryan Reynolds believed that Justin was doing a smear campaign against her.
After filing the report, Blake said in a statement, "I hope that my legal action helps pull back the curtain on these sinister retaliatory tactics to harm people who speak up about misconduct and helps protect others who may be targeted." Justin, on the other hand, denied all the allegations.
