Hudson Joseph Meek, a teen actor known for his role in 'Baby Driver' and recent TV appearances, has been laid to rest a week after his tragic death at age 16.

A week after his untimely demise, Meek's loved ones and friends gathered at the Dawson Memorial Baptist Church in Homewood, Alabama, to celebrate his life. The poignant 93-minute service was livestreamed on Meek's Instagram account.
During the heartfelt ceremony, family and friends shared fond memories of Hudson's humor, spontaneity, and unwavering faith. The church choir provided a moving rendition of "I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day" in remembrance of the actor's passing just four days before the holiday.
Meek's mother Lani Wells Meek spoke about her son's legacy as an organ donor, stating that he had saved five lives on Christmas Day. She also described him as "bold, spontaneous, and completely unfiltered in the greatest possible way."
In addition to his acting achievements, Meek was an accomplished scuba diver, having obtained his advanced open water certification at age 13. He had also visited all 50 US states.
Meek's family has established the Hudson J. Meek Memorial Scholarship, which will award one annual scholarship to a Vestavia Hills High School student. They have requested donations to be made via Venmo (HudsonMeekScholarship) or Wells Fargo (Account #5908190381).
Meek's passing has left a void in the entertainment industry and beyond. His talent, passion, and infectious spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
