Bamba, a fierce and confident competitor, made his professional debut in 2021 and signed with Ne-Yo's management company shortly before his last fight. On December 21, he triumphed over Rogelio Medina Luna to claim the WBA Gold Cruiserweight World Champion title.
In a recent Instagram post, Bamba reflected on his remarkable achievements in 2024, where he knocked out opponents in all 14 of his fights, surpassing Mike Tyson's record. He attributed his success to his exceptional drive and determination.
Ne-Yo, who had worked closely with Bamba both in the gym and outside, praised him as an inspiration to many. "He was a tremendous individual who touched countless lives," the statement read.
