The 60-year-old actor appears to suggest in a new interview that his age and health are causing him to question whether he can continue starring in the 'John Wick' franchise.

AceShowbiz - Keanu Reeves' physical well-being is making him reconsider his future as John Wick. The 60-year-old actor recently admitted that his knees are "saying, 'You can't do another John Wick' " during an interview on CBS Mornings. Reeves, who has played the titular assassin in four films, is scheduled to reprise the role in the spin-off movie "From the World of John Wick: Ballerina".

Despite Reeves' heart being willing to do another "John Wick" movie, his body may not be up to the task. The first four films in the franchise have grossed over $1 billion combined, but the fourth film ended with Wick's apparent death. However, an ambiguous ending has left fans wondering if he could return.

According to director Chad Stahelski, an alternative ending was filmed showing Wick clearly surviving, but both he and Reeves preferred the less definite conclusion. Stahelski has stated that Reeves wanted Wick to die definitively, but the producers left open a "10% little opening."

Reeves previously said, "I don't know, I guess I'm going to have to lean on never say never." He added, "I wouldn't do a 'John Wick' film without [director] Chad Stahelski. We'd have to see what that looked like. For me, it feels really right that John Wick finds peace."

While Lionsgate has expressed interest in a "John Wick 5," the studio does not currently have it scheduled for release. Reeves, meanwhile, recently injured his knee on the set of his upcoming comedy film "Good Fortune." He will next appear as Wick in "From the World of John Wick: Ballerina," set for release on June 6, 2025.
