'A Bar Song (Tipsy)' by Shaboozey has made history once again by tying the record for the longest-running No. 1 song on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart this decade.

AceShowbiz - After spending 27 total weeks atop the chart, "A Bar Song (Tipsy)" now ties Gabby Barrett's "I Hope", which held the top spot for 27 weeks in 2020. The track has also amassed an impressive 17.5 million streams and 63.8 million airplay audience impressions since May, according to Luminate.

Shaboozey's hit song has also made waves on the general Hot 100 chart, tying the record for most weeks at No. 1 after spending 19 weeks in the top spot, a record he shares with Lil Nas X. The duo's songs currently rank third in the all-time tally for the Hot Country Songs Chart.

In addition to its chart success, "A Bar Song (Tipsy)" has earned Shaboozey five Grammy nominations, including Song of the Year and Best New Artist, as well as three Billboard Music Awards.

The song's historic run comes as no surprise to Shaboozey, who has made history on the country chart before. In late April, he and Beyonce became the first black artists to top the chart consecutively, with Shaboozey's "A Bar Song (Tipsy)" following Bey's "Texas Hold'Em" from "Cowboy Carter".

The success of "A Bar Song (Tipsy)" and his collaborations with Bey have also landed Shaboozey a nod for Best New Artist at the Grammys this coming February. The track is also up for Song of the Year and Best Country Solo Performance.
