AceShowbiz - Shaboozey and Jelly Roll have secured the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart dated March 28 with their hit collaboration "Amen." The track climbed one position to lead the chart, registering a 2% increase to 32.9 million audience impressions during the tracking week of March 13-19, according to Luminate data.
The song, co-written by the duo alongside four other writers, marks Shaboozey’s third Country Airplay chart-topper. His previous No. 1 hits include "Good News," which held the top spot for two weeks in September 2025, and "A Bar Song (Tipsy)," which reigned for seven weeks from August to September 2024. Meanwhile, Jelly Roll notches his ninth No. 1 in as many visits to the chart since his breakthrough with "Son of a Sinner" in 2023, maintaining the longest active streak among all country artists.
Luke Combs still holds the record for the longest uninterrupted streak of No. 1 promoted singles, with 14 from 2017 to 2022, but Jelly Roll’s consistent chart-topping presence remains notable in the current era.
Both Shaboozey and Jelly Roll have achieved significant milestones on the Country Airplay chart. For example, "A Bar Song (Tipsy)" reached No. 1 in just 13 weeks, a pace matched or surpassed by only 5% of No. 1 songs since 2015. This single also became the longest-leading breakthrough hit in the chart’s history. On the other hand, Jelly Roll’s "Liar," which topped the chart for six weeks from February to March 2025, climbed to No. 1 over a 14-week span, a speed matched by roughly 7% of chart leaders during the same period.
For context, since the Country Airplay chart was established in 1990, songs have taken an average of 21 weeks to reach the No. 1 position.
In live performances coinciding with the tracking week, Shaboozey appeared at RodeoHouston on March 13, where he also hosted a Spotify event backstage before performing "Amen" to an audience reportedly exceeding 67,000 attendees.
In other chart news, Tucker Wetmore achieved his third Country Airplay top 10 hit as "Brunette" climbed from No. 12 to No. 10, gaining 17 million audience impressions—an 8% increase. The song was co-written by Chris LaCorte, Chase McGill, Josh Miller, and Blake Pendergrass. This top 10 entry follows Wetmore’s 2024 hits "Wind Up Missin' You" and "3,2,1," both of which peaked at No. 2.
Additionally, Kane Brown debuted "Woman" at No. 23 on the Country Airplay chart. This milestone comes 10 years and one month after Brown first entered the survey. The Chattanooga, Tennessee native has accumulated 14 top 10 hits, including 12 No. 1s, and recently renewed his partnership with Sony Music Nashville.
With these developments, the Country Airplay chart continues to showcase dynamic shifts and the ongoing success of artists like Shaboozey and Jelly Roll who consistently dominate the country radio landscape.
