Martha Stewart has made an embarrassing error on social media when she misspelled the name of singer Charli XCX as she shares a picture of them hanging out together.

AceShowbiz - Martha Stewart, the iconic domestic doyenne, had a social media mishap when she posted a photo with singer Charli XCX on Instagram. However, Stewart tagged the wrong account – @charliexcx instead of @charlixcx – misspelling Charli's name with an "e" at the end.

Stewart captioned the deleted photo, "Just hanging out with none other than @charlie__xcx who was actually not the BRAT she is known to be!"

The "brat" in the caption refers to the name of Charli XCX's recent album, which has become a cultural phenomenon.

Charli XCX was previously featured in Martha's "Saturday Night Live" opening monologue, where the singer praised Stewart as a paragon of "brat" due to her feud with journalist Andrea Peyser.

After the "SNL" episode aired, Peyser responded, "Word to Mistress Martha: I'm still alive. B-tch. I'm floored to be called 'extremely brat' on SNL. And thrilled that Martha Stewart is merely 'brat.' "

Stewart later conceded that Peyser was indeed alive and responded to her column at the Philadelphia Conference for Women.

Despite the social media mistake, it seems that Stewart and Charli XCX had a congenial encounter, sitting in director's chairs with champagne flutes in front of them.
