The 'Kelly Clarkson Show' host sends out a not-so-subtle message to former husband Brandon Blackstock in a visualizer for her festive studio album 'When Christmas Comes Around… Again.'

AceShowbiz - Kelly Clarkson kicked off the holiday season with a splash of sass and made a bold statement that has fans talking. In a visualizer for her festive album "When Christmas Comes Around… Again," the "American Idol" alum subtly dissed her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock, in a cheeky display.

In a YouTube post this past Wednesday, Clarkson, 42, shared an "official album visualizer" featuring a cozy fireplace adorned with four stockings. The first three stockings had the names "Mom," "River," and "Remington," referencing herself and her two children. But the fourth stocking bore a simple yet powerful message, "Nope."

Fans quickly picked up on the not-so-subtle shade aimed at Blackstock, with one commenting that the move was "healing" for the Grammy winner while another found it "crazy" funny. This stocking arrangement hints not only at her feelings towards her ex but also at her current relationship status - single and unbothered.

Clarkson and Blackstock's tumultuous relationship began in 2012 and led to marriage in 2013, followed by the births of River in 2014 and Remington in 2016. However, as time went on, the relationship soured. Reports indicated that Clarkson "felt single" during much of their marriage due to Blackstock's lack of participation in family activities.

The couple's legal battle was long and contentious, finalizing their divorce in March 2022 after disputes over property, custody, and spousal support. Clarkson was awarded primary custody of their two children in November 2020, a decision she was deeply grateful for. "Kelly was so grateful when she was granted primary custody of her children because they're her whole world," an insider shared.

Since the split, Clarkson has remained single and focused on her career and children. Her kids, River and Remington, have expressed that they prefer it that way. "They constantly bring it up: 'Please, we don't want you to be with anybody else,' " Clarkson shared during a radio interview in November. Although jokingly, she added, "Hey, I love you guys, but Mommy needs loving, too!"

Clarkson's playful yet pointed holiday display is a testament to her journey of moving on and finding joy in her current situation, all while delivering some festive fun for her fans.
