AceShowbiz - Alexis Bellino, a former cast member of "The Real Housewives of Orange County", has confirmed her exit from the show's upcoming nineteenth season. Despite returning as a "Friend-of" for season 17 after a 10-year absence, Bellino's tenure was marked by conflicts with longtime Housewife Shannon Beador.
Their disputes stemmed from legal battles involving Bellino's ex-husband and Beador's current boyfriend, as well as Bellino's continued support for Beador's ex-boyfriend in his own legal battles.
Upon her departure, Bellino expressed a sense of relief, acknowledging that she was expecting the news. She had previously left the show after season 8 and believed that the current season would follow a similar pattern. Bellino also acknowledged the fan's preferences, recognizing Beador's popularity and understanding that her own return was unlikely.
Despite her departure, Bellino can take pride in helping "RHOC" achieve its highest audience in five years. According to Nielsen data, season 18 averaged 3.1 million total viewers and 1.6 million viewers within the 18-49 demographic, a 5% increase from the previous season.
While Bravo has yet to officially comment on casting, sources indicate that filming for season 19 is expected to begin in January, with all other cast members from season 18 returning.
