Variety's Senior Awards Editor, Clayton Davis, leaves the crowd stunned as he brings up the singer/actress' age at the screening of her latest movie 'Unstoppable'.

AceShowbiz - Jennifer Lopez's reaction to an interviewer's shocking comment about her age was caught on camera. The singer/actress surprisingly had a graceful response when a journalist brought up her age at a screening of her latest film "Unstoppable".

During the Sunday, Saturday 15 screening of the biopic, the 55-year-old was interviewed by Variety's Senior Awards Editor, Clayton Davis. When noting her long tenure in the industry, he ribbed about the star getting older.

"I can't believe it's been 30 years since 'Selena'," Clayton said in a clip which was obtained by TMZ, referring to her role in the 1997 biopic about iconic Mexican-American singer Selena Quintanilla-Perez.

"I can't believe that in 30 years we're going to do a retrospective of this, and you will be 60 by then, which is...," the interviewer added, as a stunned J.Lo replied, "Wow." He then further shocked fans as he joked the "Hustlers" star was "getting up there" in age.

While some audience members were heard gasping at the remark, the "Marry Me" actress didn't seem to be offended. She slowly nodded her head, replying in a quiet tone, "I am" while someone in the crowd asked, "Did he just say that?"

Clayton later clarified that it was a "joke," while J.Lo shone a positive light on her getting older. She thanked her fans for being with her for a "long time," adding, "What a journey this has been and I honestly feel that the best is yet to come."

"I honestly feel that my creativity and who I am as an artist is like you said... I also feel that this for me, was another kind of level of going deeper into who I am as a person or as an artist. And these type of roles change you," she continued. "They come to you at times in your life when you need them, and they help you grow and they heal you in a way."
