AceShowbiz - In the December 12 episode of the "Baskin and Phelps" podcast, Ed Kelce, father of NFL star Travis Kelce, revealed his plan for selecting a birthday gift for Taylor Swift, his son's girlfriend for over a year. Recognizing that Swift has everything she wants materially, Ed explained that he needed to find something that would "tweak the strings of her heart" and trigger an emotional response.

"Buying Taylor a present is like trying to buy Jason or Travis a present. There's nothing they want that they don't already have," said Ed, also a father to retired NFL player Jason Kelce. "You have to look beyond that. You gotta dig down and come up with something special."

Emphasizing the insignificance of monetary value, Ed stated, "The amount of money is meaningless. You're not going to crush Taylor Swift with a gift that cost, you know, $100,000." Instead, he believes that a meaningful gift can be found for as little as $10.

Swift has recently concluded her record-breaking "Eras Tour", which spanned 152 stops and grossed over $2 billion, making it the highest-grossing tour in history. Despite her immense success, Ed is determined to find a gift that goes beyond material possessions and connects with her on a personal level.

Last year, Swift celebrated her 34th birthday with a party in New York City, attended by her closest friends, including Gigi Hadid, Blake Lively and Jack Antonoff. While Travis Kelce was unable to attend due to mandatory football practice, Ed is hopeful that he can create a special moment for Taylor this year.
