AceShowbiz - Craig Conover, the 35-year-old reality TV star, has "pretty much stopped drinking" in anticipation of the tenth season of "Southern Charm". In an interview, Conover revealed that he scaled back his alcohol intake to demonstrate his readiness for a more stable and committed relationship with Paige DeSorbo, 32.
"Months before the season began, I made a decision to transition from being the fun boyfriend to becoming husband and father material," Conover explained. "I recognized in Paige's eyes that she believed in the potential I have. I dedicated the energy I used to put into socializing to my business, and my schedule has become significantly more demanding. I feel like a regular person now, not someone simply waiting for the show to resume."
Growing up, Conover's father's decision to quit drinking after his birth served as an inspiration for him. Recognizing that he was not experiencing any significant benefits from his alcohol consumption, Conover acknowledged, "It's true. I'm not getting into trouble or drinking to excess anymore. But I'm also not doing anything particularly positive. I was leading a very stagnant and repetitive existence."
With the support of the Reframe app, Conover gradually transitioned to moderation. "I never considered alternative ways to spend my time. Every social activity revolved around drinking for me. I was unfamiliar with any other way of life," Conover admitted. "My priorities have changed, and I've discovered greater value in other pursuits. It has been an incredibly positive experience."
Conover now devotes more time to working out, spending quality time with his family, and traveling with DeSorbo. He also enjoys tending to his garden and bees, activities he refers to as "wholesome."
