As the holiday season approaches, Britney Spears is intent on mending the once-fractured relationships within her family, particularly those with her mother, Lynne Spears, and her sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James.

AceShowbiz - Pop icon Britney Spears has set a heartwarming goal this Christmas – to rebuild her relationships with her mother Lynne Spears and her teenage sons, Sean Preston, 19, and Jayden James, 18. After years of being estranged, especially during her conservatorship, Britney is working diligently to restore these vital family bonds.

"She and her sons are really focusing on rebuilding their bond," a source tells Page Six, adding that the pop star and her two sons are on the path to being "super close" again. "These things are a process in every family dynamic," the insider adds.

Britney's sons, Sean and Jayden, moved to Hawaii with their father, Kevin Federline, in August 2023. Despite the physical distance and a long period of no contact, Britney has begun reconnecting with her boys. In November, Jayden initiated their first reunion in years. An insider revealed, "They have been spending a lot of time together. Britney is thrilled to have her baby back."

Reconciliation extends beyond her sons. Britney is also repairing her relationship with her mother, Lynne, and her brother, Bryan. Lynne publicly wished Britney a happy 43rd birthday, signaling a thaw in their previously frosty relationship. Earlier in the year, Britney and Bryan enjoyed some sibling bonding time in Las Vegas, sharing playful spa videos.

"He's been staying over and helping her alongside a therapist," a source shared about Bryan's supportive role in Britney's life, especially following her split from Sam Asghari. Bryan's constant support has been a pillar for Britney as she navigates through these personal changes.

However, Britney's efforts to mend family ties do not extend to her father, Jamie Spears, and sister, Jamie Lynn Spears. Britney remains vocal about her grievances with her father, whom she accused of being abusive during her conservatorship, and maintains her distance from both him and her sister.

Currently, Britney is in Mexico, seeking solace from the paparazzi's relentless scrutiny. "It really kind of hurts my feelings that the paparazzi make my face look like I'm wearing like a white Jason mask. It doesn't even look like me," she expressed in an Instagram video. Despite this brief escape, her focus remains on her family, hoping the festive season will bring them closer.
