AceShowbiz - Details about Tommie Lee's hospitalization have emerged online. According to a new report, the "Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood" star almost had her leg amputated following a domestic violence incident with her boyfriend.
A screenshot obtained by onsite! saw a hospital worker sharing some details regarding Tommie. "Why Tommie been hospitalized for the last few days...," the person told their friend. "She's [Tommie Lee] at a hospital that someone I know works at. After being in Jamaica with a known woman beater from Chicago. And her leg is nearly amputated."
It was said that Tommie and her beau got into a fight involving the machete during their vacation in Jamaica. The large knife sliced Tommie's leg down to the bone and it was so bad that doctors discussed the possibility of amputation.
Meanwhile, Tommie shared in a new Instagram video that she is going to have to undergo surgery. "I have surgery tomorrow," she said on December 2 while seemingly standing. "I gotta hop around. I'm gonna make the most of it."
She continued, "For those who want to make a joke, be my guest. Because that karma that you speak of, when you make jokes like that, I return to sender every time." The VH1 star later blamed the show's producers for making her look like a villain, saying, "It goes back to 'Love and Hip Hop'. This whole narrative... party who I am and partly not."
Prior to this, Tommie addressed her hospitalization in cryptic tweets. "They'll be more thanksgivings in the future I'll walk again my outlook is always positive thankful for my friends and family that's riding this out with me [prayer emoji]. Love yall more than anything!" she said.
She added, "It's cr*zy how when I look back at the videos in Jamaica I see the hatred clear as day, but I be so much in my own lil world I missed the signs smh this is wild man!" Perhaps the most alarming tweet states, "Domestic violence = death."
