AceShowbiz - Nick Cannon, the 44-year-old "The Masked Singer" host, is contemplating the possibility of expanding his already large family. In an exclusive clip from TMZ's "Merry Elfin" Christmas special, Cannon revealed that he's not against getting a vasectomy.
"I don't know. I'm not against…shout out to everybody else who has ever done it," he said.
However, Cannon also expressed a willingness to have more children. "Why not?" he responded when asked about it. "I like the dozen right now."
Cannon is already a father to 12 children. He shares twins Moroccan and Monroe with ex-wife Mariah Carey, and has several other children with Brittany Bell, Abby De La Rosa, Bre Tiesi, LaNisha Cole, and Alyssa Scott.
One of his sons, Zen, whom he shared with Scott, sadly died at 5 months old from brain cancer in December 2021.
Despite the challenges of fatherhood, Cannon embraces his role as a dad. In October, he spoke about raising his teenage twins, admitting that it can be "horrifying" to watch his daughter evolve into a young woman. "It's scary," he said. "I'm just watching her evolve into this young woman and, I mean, I can't stop it."
On the financial aspect of having a large family, Cannon joked, "It's definitely not [cheaper by the dozen]. It's a rich man's sport, I'll tell ya that!"
Last month, Cannon described his Thanksgiving plans as "very complicated" due to his multiple family commitments. "I'm a busy man on Thanksgiving," he said. "I have a bunch of dinners [I've] got to go to. Everybody specializes in certain things."
