AceShowbiz - Prince Harry allegedly wants to return as a senior working royal. A royal expert suggested that the Duke of Sussex wanted to take a step away from Netflix documentaries and just return as a senior working royal.
Royal writer Richard Edens told Daily Mail that Palace sources "have made clear" that Harry doesn't enjoy his current life. "Palace officials are increasingly convinced that Harry wants to resume his old way of life, when he felt he was using his privileged position to make a difference for worthwhile causes," Eden said, as reported by GB News.
Eden added, "Harry's heart is not in the TV stuff - anyone can see that." According to the author, Harry hinted at his feelings with his decision not to make an appearance in the trailer for his Netflix's series "Polo". The footage only featured Harry and Meghan Markle's name in a production credit reading "executive produced by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle the Duke and Duchess of Sussex."
It was also said that Harry told his friends that he's willing to take on a temporary royal role after he learned about his father King Charles' cancer diagnosis.
In the new report, Eden claimed that Harry and Meghan might consider returning to royal duties as their multi-million-pound contract with Netflix is up for renewal in 2025. "If the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are prepared to give up their private work and return to royal life, they would be welcomed back," Eden said. "Certainly, as long as King Charles is monarch. Prince William is unlikely to be as forgiving as his father."
Meanwhile, a recent report claimed that Meghan wasn't happy at all when it comes to the idea of her husband Prince Harry reconciling with his royal family. "She's panicking about Harry being sucked back into his old life," a source told Closer Magazine.
The source went on saying, "For her, it's far better for Harry to be on the outside, so she can have him firmly and safely in her corner. The thought of him cozying up to his family again has struck a note of panic."
