AceShowbiz - Pete Davidson is reportedly in rehabilitation for the second time this year. According to a new report, the former cast member of "Saturday Night Live" quietly checked into rehab, months after he was admitted to a rehab facility in September.
A source reveals to The U.S. Sun that the "Bupkis" actor "checked into rehab in Florida fairly recently." The insider adds, "He flew in on a private jet."
It is said that Pete is currently having a hard time. Of the comedian/actor, the source says, "He's in pretty bad shape this time around. He's not in a good place."
The informant further notes that Pete's recent stint arrives after he ended his secret romance with "The Bachelor" alum Maria Georgas. "He ended a fling with Maria just before he checked in," shares the insider, adding that the "Suicide Squad" star and the reality TV star, who competed for Joey Graziadei's heart last year, only dated "for a coupe of months."
Earlier this year, Pete reportedly checked himself into a rehab facility due to his heartbreak following his failed romance with Madelyn Cline. "Pete is miserable most of the time," a source told Daily Mail. The insider noted that he was only "truly happy" when he's working and on stage performing, but his "Prehab Tour" was canceled.
The insider added that Pete wanted to prioritize his mental health even if he had to cancel his tour which led to fans' disappointment and financial loss. "He has to be in the right mind-set to get on stage and perform in front of thousands," the source explained. "He kind of puts on a front on stage because that's his happy place, so sometimes people don't even know what he's seriously going through because he jokes about his life and he laughs along with his fans."
As for his romance life, Pete's family and friends showed support to him following his breakup with Madelyn. "Some of his closest friends didn't even find out about him going back for treatment until they read about it in the news," the source said. "No matter what, they are wishing him the best and know that he'll bounce back after getting the help he needs."
