When making an appearance at the Vanderpump Dogs gala, the bass singer for the pop boy band discusses the possibility of him reuniting with his bandmates, including Justin.

AceShowbiz - Lance Bass apparently wants to reunite with fellow NSYNC members. Amid rumors suggesting that the boy band is preparing for a comeback show, the bass singer for the group revealed that he is hopeful for the reunion.

When making an appearance at the Vanderpump Dogs gala, the 45-year-old singer/dancer talked about the possibility of him reuniting with his bandmates, including Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick. Speaking to Daily Mail, he said, "I mean, who knows? I hope so! Fingers crossed!"

During the chat, Lance also talked about the documentary "Larger Than Life: Reign of the Boybands". He shared, "It's so crazy, so many people are doing documentaries on it right now. I did one years ago called The Boy Band Con and it was cathartic to be able to do that."

"Really kind of dissecting who he was and what we went through. So many people have asked me to sit down, I'm like, 'Yes, I want to share my story,' " he continued. "I have not seen this one yet! I'll be watching it along with everyone else, but I hear it's an incredible doc."

The interview was published more than one month after it was reported that Justin Timberlake is coming along for NSYNC's "major reunion." A source spilled to The U.S. Sun on October 3, "The guys have always known that a major reunion should happen, but with them all heading toward 50 the timing is important - especially if a performance is involved."

The source explained, "Music is definitely involved, but the reunion on stage is a little trickier. Certainly there is a definite plan to join forces and sing some hits no matter what comes next. However, how they play out is still in the mix. There have been ideas like a 'one night only' recorded special where they come together in front of a celebrity audience which is included in the docuseries, or is actually presented to a network or streamer as the project."

"They have written some musical ideas and been offered tracks for a new single which could expand into a new album or expanded greatest hits," the insider added. "Certainly there is much love from the fanbase to spark interest in their music having a big comeback for a new generation."
