AceShowbiz - Ice Spice joins a renowned roster of rappers in Fortnite Battle Royale's Chapter 2 remix, which includes Eminem, Snoop Dogg and Juice WRLD. The Bronx femcee's arrival on Thursday (November 14) follows Snoop Dogg's initial launch.
Shark Island has transformed into Ice Isle, an abandoned shopping mall decked out in a Y2K aesthetic. Ice Spice's Grappler and Rifle are now available, along with two skins inspired by her "Deli" and "Fisherrr (Remix)" music video outfits.
"I'm grateful to stand next to icons," Ice Spice told Billboard. "I have a bunch of younger siblings that play the game and I get to have big sister cool points."
Players can explore Ice Isle and interact with the Ice Spice NPC, who patrols the area. Eliminating her yields her Mythic Ice Spice Assault Rifle and Grappler. The NPC can also join players' teams.
Ice Spice's passion for media and style is evident in this Fortnite collaboration. She has previously fused these interests by paying homage to iconic '90s movies for her Halloween costume. Her evolving fashion choices could inspire even more skins in the future.
Ice Spice's addition to Fortnite Chapter 2 remix brings a unique blend of hip-hop culture and pop aesthetics. With its immersive gameplay updates and Ice Spice's iconic style, this collaboration is sure to captivate players of all levels.
