AceShowbiz - In an interview with Tamron Hall that aired on Thursday, November 14, Kenya Moore addressed the incident involving sexually explicit images of her castmate, Brittany Eady. Despite previously denying her involvement, Moore admitted her wrongdoing, saying, "I believe the photos were very distasteful, and I elevated the situation."
Moore expressed regret for her actions, stating, "I am sorry for what I've done. I didn't have to take it that far." She explained that she felt threatened and escalated the situation to protect herself and her daughter.
"Hindsight is always fifty, fifty," she began. "If I could do it all over again, I believe the photos were very distasteful, and I elevated the situation. I've elevated situations before, and I've taken full accountability for the things that I've done," she continued.
Following the incident, Bravo conducted an investigation and ultimately decided to fire Moore in June. Moore had been a cast member on "RHOA" since Season 5, with a brief demotion to "guest" status in Season 11.
Moore also apologized for previously denying involvement in any wrongdoing, stating, "Hindsight is always 50-50. If I could do it all over again, I would have handled it differently."
Despite her departure from "RHOA", Moore remains hopeful about the future of the franchise. She stated, "I think that show can keep going and going and going, because it's an audience for somebody."
